After class, we thought we’d go over to the Mercado Inka and get some warm gloves and socks! Once we were there, we also decided we needed purses and I ended up with a cartera and coasters! We had a lot of fun looking around and will definitely be going back there soon.
Since Judy was cooking us lunch, we headed back home on a BUS! Yes, this time we actually managed to get on the bus that was going in the correct direction! How nice. :) It only took us about 25 minutes to get home compared to the 15 by taxi. Not too bad, I thought, and the bus fare is only s/.1! That’s like 30 cents! We then gathered up our laundry and headed over to the Hughes’.
Judy had cooked us a wonderful lunch of chicken fajitas and homemade salsa! Yum yum! It felt like home. :) Once Judy told us that she hadn’t made any dessert, we decided it REALLY felt like home! We spent the rest of the day hanging out with Jeff and Judy while they kindly let us do our laundry.
Now, it’s time to study!
